First off, thank you to everyone who voted. Some of the songs tied for places, so the gazette staff took some tie breaking votes. Coming in at number 1 with 17 votes, All I Want For Christmas Is You! This classic Christmas song you hear on the radio every day is almost everyone favorite!
Number 2, not far behind, has 13 votes, and is the all time favorite Last Christmas! There are multiple opinions on which is the best version, from Taylor Swift to Wham! to Meghan Trainor to the original version, written by George Michael.
3rd place, which tied with 2nd place at 13 votes, is a classic Christmas song. When you think of Christmas this is one of the things you think of. It’s Santa Claus Is Comin To Town! I mean, isn’t the presents and Santa everyone’s favorite part of Christmas?
In 4th place, tied with 5th place at 12 votes, is You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch. When you think of Christmas movies, this is the first movie that pops into your mind. You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch is an all-around favorite to a great movie.
5th place is a Christmas song that you’ll hear from door-to-door carolers and choir groups all over. Also, with 12 votes, we have Feliz Navidad. This song, sung in Spanish, is a song many people hear from caroling groups. You can’t help but sing along, even if you know very little Spanish.
